A Divine Sweep

A Divine Sweep

The Body of Christ is entering a season of reckoning—a time of divine judgment and cleansing within the Church. This message isn’t shared lightly; it’s a heartfelt response to the prompting of the Lord, delivered in obedience and humility.

The Lord is calling His people to a divine sweep—a thorough cleansing and realignment within His house. As believers, we often focus on God’s grace and blessings, but we must also confront His holiness, righteousness, and justice. This is a season where complacency and idolatry within the Church will no longer be overlooked.

The Prophetic Call to Action

During a time of prayer, the Lord delivered a word that deeply impressed upon my heart. Scriptures such as Isaiah 23:11, Jeremiah 23:11, and Ezekiel 44:6-8 echoed this warning: God’s house has become defiled, and judgment will begin with His people. Leaders and followers alike must turn from compromise and complacency, seeking His face in humility and repentance.

The phrase “divine sweep” reverberates throughout this message, emphasizing that God is cleansing His house to restore it as a place of prayer, righteousness, and reverence. For many, this will be a wake-up call—a call to repentance and realignment with His will.

Word From The Lord

"Judgement is coming to my house. Divine judgement is upon you. Let there be a washing...a cleansing. This is a divine sweep. Sweeping away. A sweeping within the house. I am not pleased, and you shall see I am God. Holy and righteous. I have given warnings, but my people have been led astray. Grace, grace, they say, but they mock me. My house shall stand. My house shall be a house of prayer...of righteousness; therefore, a sweeping is near (has come).

Pray because many have fallen away. My path is no longer sacred but has become common. Deliver the message. Sound the alarm because judgement has come to my house."

A Charge to Pray for the Scattered Sheep

This word is not just for the leaders but also for the sheep who are at risk of being scattered. The Lord’s heart aches for His people who have been led astray by false teachings and compromised leadership. We are charged to intercede for those who are lost and vulnerable, praying for mercy and restoration.

“Pray for the lost sheep,” was the Lord’s directive, highlighting the urgency of this hour. As followers of Christ, we are called to stand in the gap, lifting up those who may be unaware of the coming judgment or who have wandered from the truth.

As this has been on the heart of the Father, I've been pressing in prayer, and these are the scriptures I've been praying for the scattered sheep.

Prayer For Scattered Sheep

Father, in the name of Jesus, according Jeremiah 3: 12-15 Lord, I repent. We have been a faithless people. Lord, we are guilty and have rebelled against you. We have made idols of men. We have lavished our love on idols under every green tree, and we have not obeyed your voice. Father, forgive us! In the name of Jesus, I cast down everything that I have exalted above you. Lord, search me with your lanterns.  Search me within my inward parts when you find things that are not pleasing things that have aided and abeded in my nature and desire to exalt things above you. I lay the ax to the root of my idolotrous nature and nullify the deeds of an idol-seeking nature.

According to Ezekiel 34:10b-17, 22 I decree that you will hold selfish shepherds accountable and demand that they return your flock to you in the name of Jesus. I decree they will no longer feed only themselves because you will rescue the sheep from their mouths. I declare they will help themselves to your sheep no longer. Father, I ask that you personally search for your sheep and look after them. As a good shepherd searches after his scattered sheep, look after your sheep and rescue them from wherever they have been scattered. May they be returned in the name of Jesus. Lord, come and save your sheep and rescue them from being victimized.

Father, according to Jeremiah 50:6, your people are like lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray. They are lost, wandering about. Father, cause them to remember that you are their resting place.

Lord, I stand in agreement that you are the good shepherd according to John 10: 1-18. I agree that you are the door. The gateway. To enter through you is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. I speak freedom and safety over the body of Christ. Lord, I thank you for rousing the body from slumber. Cause us to hear and know your voice so that we do not know the voice of strangers.

I speak Jeremiah 23:3-4 over the body of Christ. Father, I thank you for gathering the remnant of your flock from all the places they have been scattered. Bring them back to their folds, where they will thrive and increase in number. Father, raise up faithful shepherds to shepherd us—ones who will really care for us.

In Jesus' name — Amen.

A Time for Repentance and Reverence

The time for playing church is over. The Lord is calling for His people to return to Him with full hearts, casting down idols, and embracing a life of holiness. As Isaiah 28:17 reminds us, God will sweep away lies and establish truth, setting justice and integrity as the plumb line.

This is not a message of fear but of love. God’s correction is rooted in His desire to see His people walk in righteousness and live in the fullness of His purpose. He is a God of grace and mercy but also a righteous judge who calls His people to account.

What Can You Do?

  1. Pray: Seek God’s face for wisdom, guidance, and mercy. Intercede for the Body of Christ, especially the lost and scattered sheep.
  2. Repent: Turn away from anything that dishonors God. Examine your heart and ask Him to reveal areas in need of cleansing.
  3. Sound the Alarm: Share the truth with love and urgency, encouraging others to seek the Lord.

Final Encouragement

This is a pivotal moment for the Church. As judgment begins in the house of God, let us rise to the occasion with humility, faith, and prayer. Trust that His refining fire will purify and strengthen His people for the work ahead.

“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God...” (1 Peter 4:17 NKJV)

May we embrace His call with reverence and steadfastness, knowing that His purpose is always for His glory and our ultimate good.

Pray, repent, and stand firm, for the Lord is moving among His people.
