Begin with Home Base: Your Relationship with God

Planning and building for the future—whether it’s your business, ministry, or life goals—requires a firm foundation. That foundation is your relationship with the Lord.

Galatians 3:3 reminds us: “After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?”

Many of us start with God-inspired visions but gradually rely on our own strength, leading to burnout, frustration, and discouragement. Before you map out your next steps, take time to return to the secret place. Fasting, prayer, and intentional time with God will help align your heart with His plan.

Stop Consuming and Start Taking the Right Action

One common trap many Christian entrepreneurs fall into is endless consumption. Free masterclasses, training videos, and comparison-fueled scrolling leave you inspired but stuck. Instead of taking any action, focus on taking the right action.

Ask yourself:

Am I scrolling because I’m avoiding the work God has called me to do?
Have I sought His wisdom about the next step in my business?
What’s stopping me from showing up fully?

True transformation begins when you shift from overconsumption to intentional obedience.

The Four Pillars of the Arise Method

To thrive in your business and walk in alignment with God’s plan, you need four key elements:

Inner-getics: This is about up-leveling your beliefs—about God, yourself, and your calling. It includes regulating your emotions and aligning your thoughts with God’s truth.
Identity: Knowing whose you are and who God has called you to be is foundational. Without clarity in your identity, your message will feel muffled, and your audience won’t resonate with you.
Impact: Your brand’s unique voice and offerings set you apart in the marketplace. As you focus on your God-given gifts, you’ll be able to serve your sphere of influence with excellence.
Simple Strategy: Strive less and embrace God’s rhythms. A well-defined yet simple approach will help you build sustainably without burnout.

Possess the Gates of Your Soul

Your business is more than just a way to make a living—it’s spiritual territory. Taking authority over your personal gates (mind, will, and emotions) is critical to walking in victory. Proverbs 25:28 warns us: “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.”

When setbacks occur, are you filtering them through doubt or faith? Are you making circumstances mean something about God’s promises? The truth is, obstacles are neutral events. How you respond determines whether you move forward or remain stuck.
